“I consider
regular communication with the public a very important part of my
position as your Sheriff. In an effort to share insight into the law
enforcement community and the Dodge County Sheriff’s Department, I
began distributing a Sheriff’s Column to the local print and radio
media. We enjoy a tremendous relationship with our local media and I
am very grateful that they share this insight with you. I use my
bi-weekly Sheriff’s Column to share important information, educate
the local populace, and communicate my stance on issues that I feel
are important and may impact you. This link will allow you to go
back in time and familiarize you with previous columns. Though you
will see these every two weeks, guidelines require that these column
