Infant Found For immediate release:  The Dodge County Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled the death of Infant Doe, “Baby Theresa” a Fetal Death.  Autopsy findings indicated that “Baby Theresa” was a full term female infant, 8 pounds, 20.5 inches in length, who had suffered no trauma which would have resulted in her death.  In addition, a toxicology screen was completed and was negative for any drugs in the infant’s system. Schoebel, Dodge County Medical Examiner at 920-386-3941 or by paging him thru the Dodge County Dispatch Center at 920-386-3726.   (Released on 07/03/09) Press Release 05/06/09 Press Release 05/04/09 The Dodge County Sheriff’s Department is investigation the death of an abandoned Caucasian female infant.  The newborn was found on April 29, 2009 at approximately 5:00 pm.  The newborn was found on Lone Road, 2 miles southeast of Theresa.   The baby was found in a kitchen trash bag.  It was determined that the gestation of the newborn was full term; 40-42 weeks.  The newborn was approximately 8 lbs. with dark brown or black hair.  Delivery of the newborn would have occurred between April 27 and April 29, 2009.  An area resident observed an older two door Dodge vehicle, metallic blue with black hood, in the area of where the newborn was located.  The resident was unfamiliar with the vehicle or occupants.  Any persons having information leading to the identity of the biological mother to infant “Doe” please contact Detective Vicki Brugger at 920-386-3715.  If you wish to remain anonymous you can contact We-Tip at 1-800-78-CRIME or submit information via the tip link “click here”.
