When 9-1-1 calls come into the Center it is
important that the caller remains on the line so the
dispatcher can get all the information possible so
they can provide the deputies with an accurate
account of what may be going on. When you call
9-1-1 please be prepared to provide the location of
the emergency, your name and a return phone number.
You may also be asked for your middle initial and
date of birth. Please do not become upset with
the dispatcher when they ask for this information as
it is part of our standard operating procedure.
If you have had contact with the Communications
Center and would like to thank the dispatcher who
assisted you, below are their names and links to
their e-mail addresses. Often the Communication Officers
go unrecognized for their valuable contributions to the public and
for their dedication that is shown throughout the
year so please join me in thanking them for the
great work that they provide on a daily basis.
