Underage
Drinking Educational Group
Youth who receive a
citation for Underage Drinking are referred to the group.
The participants are introduced to the risks of alcohol
consumption and community harms of underage drinking.
They are also exposed to new thinking and decision making
processes. The intent of the program is to reduce the
risks associated with underage drinking, to discuss the
potential harm to the community, and to encourage
responsible behavior related to alcohol use.
Participants will be presented with tools to help them
realize how their actions impact those around them.
The Underage Drinking Educational Group would be beneficial
for any youth struggling with alcohol, drugs, or poor
decision making. |
