Description
Small
Business Guarantee -
Expansion or acquisition of businesses. 80% guarantee on loans up to
$200,000, $200,000 guarantee on loans up to $750,000. Proceeds can be used
for purchase or improvement of land, buildings, equipment working capital
and inventory.
Linked
Deposit Loan (LiDL) Subsidy - Small
businesses owned and controlled by women or minorities. Assists in
reducing the cost of borrowing on new bank loans ranging from $10,000 to
$99,000 for two years. Can be used for rehabilitation of land, buildings
and equipment. Job creation required.
Agribusiness Guarantee
- Start-up, acquisition or expansion of a business that develops products
using Wisconsin's raw agricultural commodities. Maximum guarantee is
$600,000. Proceeds can be used for working capital, the purchase of a
building or equipment, or marketing expenses.

Multi-Family Financing |

Program
Description
Tax
Credits - Allocated to
encourage construction, rehabilitation and preservation of affordable
rental housing in Wisconsin. Project owners are eligible to received
federal tax credits in exchange for a commitment to reserve a percentage
of the units at rents affordable to low-and moderate-income tenants.
Housing Loan Program -
Construction and long-term financing for developing rental housing
primarily through the sale of federally tax-exempt or taxable housing
revenue bonds. Financing is subject to federal requirements including
project eligibility, and rent and occupancy restrictions.
Foundation Housing Grants
- For eligible sponsors for target populations: homeless persons, domestic
abuse victims, low income or frail elderly persons, chronically mentally
ill, physically impaired or persons with disabilities and those without
access to traditional permanent housing. Grants are awarded on a statewide
competitive basis annually. Eligible sponsors include nonprofit
organizations, local units of government and Indian tribes. Awards are
made in amounts up to $25,000.

Program
Description
Home
Loan provides low-interest, low down payment, fixed-rate financing for
purchase of homes by low-and moderate-income individuals and families.
Home loans are limited to first-time buyers, except in areas of the state
specially "targeted" as being in need of revitalization. Borrowers and
properties must meet income and purchase price limits. Loans are
originated through participating lenders. The Easy Close Option offers
Home loan borrowers a loan of up to $1,000 for closing costs.

applicants. The TEAM staff works with you in the early stages of the

Association (WBA) developed the WBA TEAM NETWORK (Technical Economic
Assistance Mechanism) to help financial institutions across
the state respond effectively to business applicants.
