A circle is a structured communication format, providing a safe place for all voices to be heard.

Guided by a circlekeeper, a participant speaks from the heart while holding a talking piece. The other engage in compassionate listening.

The Circle process begins with its members identifying values. Each participant then commits to honor these values while in the circle.

The Circle's first two stages are getting acquainted and building relationships. Participants share stories and personalize the conversation into the final two stages, which address an issue and identify what actions must be take.
