The Comprehensive
Community Services (CCS) Program is a community-based
psychosocial rehabilitation program designed to provide a
wide variety of case management services, as well as
assistance in accessing a variety of other community
services and supports. The program is available to
individuals with a diagnosis of a mental illness or a
substance abuse disorder who also have Medical Assistance
benefits. Most importantly, the focus is on empowering
consumers to take an active role in their own treatment and
recovery process. Services are consumer-centered and
consumer-directed, meaning that the consumer has choice in
the selection of those on their Recovery Team, what services
they receive, and who provides these services.
The CCS program in
Dodge County currently services adults age 18 and over,
however Dodge County plans to expand CCS services to
children and adolescents in the near future.
