Medical Examiner

Job Title:

Deputy Medical Examiner

Job Description:

Under the supervision of the Medical Examiner investigates and reports on the cause and manner of deaths including the gathering of physical evidence, interviewing, determines if a case falls under the jurisdiction of the Medical Examiner’s Office; and performs related work as required.

Qualifications:

Graduation from high school or equivalent.  Associate degree in nursing, medical terminology, chemistry, biology, medicine, pre-med, paramedic, EMT, forensic science or Criminal Justice or closely related field and two years of medical investigative experience.  A combination of educations and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities maybe considered.  Approved training in death investigation within one (1) year of job commencement.  Continuing education to improve death investigation skills.  Accounting, secretarial and computer skills is preferred.  Valid Wisconsin Driver’s license and access to personal transportation or other reliable means of city and rural travel on a 24-hours basis.  Must be available twenty four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, unless proper replacement and reported to dispatching/paging agency.

Job Description:

Under the general direction of Human Services Supervisor, performs social studies of persons and families in need of social service, and makes recommendations for administrative decision.  Assesses client psychosocial needs and develops treatment plans; advocates for client rights; and provides direct services.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in social work and possess a social worker certification as defined under Wisconsin State Statute 457.08. Consideration may be given to completion of this certification during probation period.

High school diploma or GED equivalent, including/supplemented by courses in personal computer/ word processing, and four (4) years responsible clerical and stenographic experience, preferably in law office.  Equivalent combination of education and experience which provides necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.

Job Description:

Under the general direction of the IT Director, and in coordination with the Support Manager and the network support staff, is responsible for the administration, maintenance and supervision of the daily operations of the iSeries IBM system and application systems.  The position is responsible for managing large and potentially complex management information systems initiatives including maintenance, enhancement, implementation and ongoing support of all IBM iSeries applications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in MIS or related field.  Five (5) yeas experience in systems design, development, and support of iSeries environment and applications (JD Edwards/PeopleSoft, KRONOS experience a plus, other languages including C++, Visual Basic, VB.Net awareness, SQL, and Access, Html or other web experience, a plus).  Equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
