Highway Safety Improvements As part of a federally funded highway safety program, Dodge County was awarded funds to complete a safety study of rural county highways. Engineers have been reviewing construction plans and analyzing vehicle crash data, with the focus on identifying high crash rate locations and identifying roadway hazards. As part of the first phase of this project, we are seeking public comment about safety problems that you may have seen before we prepare recommendations for the safety improvements. A series of public information meetings will be held to gather public input. Click here to view the informational newsletter on this project which includes the public information meeting schedule. This newsletter was mailed to property owners along the highway segments in early March. Follow the links below for information pertinent to the individual highway segments.
