The Highway Committee shall consist of five (5) County Board members elected at an Organizational Meeting to serve for two years beginning as soon as elected and until their successors are elected. Any vacancy in the Highway Committee shall be filled by election by the County Board.
The powers and duties of the Highway Committee are as follows:

The Highway Committee shall be only a policy-making body determining the broad outlines and principles governing administration of the Dodge County Highway Department. |

2. |
Powers and duties which are not specifically given by statute to either the Highway Commissioner or the County Administrator are retained by the Highway Committee. |
DODGE COUNTY HIGHWAY COMMISSIONER
The Dodge County Highway Commissioner shall have the
administrative powers and duties prescribed for the county highway
committee as provided by Section 83.015(2)(b) of the Wisconsin Statutes
(2007-08).
Notice of Meeting
of the Highway Committee
of the Dodge County Board of Supervisors
There will be a meeting of the Highway Committee of the Dodge County Board of Supervisors on Thursday, February 2, 2012, at 9:00 a.m. in the Dodge County Highway Commission Building, located at 211 E. Center Street in Juneau.
The agenda for the meeting is as follows:| 1. | Call meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. |
| 2. | Roll call. |
| 3. |
Approve agenda and allow the chairman to go out of order as needed to efficiently conduct the meeting. |
| 4. | Review minutes of January 20, 2012. |
| 5. |
The Committee
may convene in closed session for the purpose of deliberating
the purchasing of public properties, which, because of
competitive and bargaining reasons, requires a closed session,
specifically, the purchase of a parcel of real estate to be used
as a site for a vehicle storage facility.
The meeting is
closed pursuant to Section 19.85(1)(e), of the Wisconsin
Statutes. |
