Ground breaking for the $44.5
M project was held on June 30, 2010.
A Ribbon Cutting and Public Open House was
held on Sunday June 5, 2011 to mark the initial completion of Phase I of
the project.
The first residents moved into a portion of
the new facility on June 13, 2011. By September 1, 2011 approximately
120 residents will make their home in the new state of the art facility.
Construction of Phase II which consists of two three
story residential wings began in early August, 2011. Full occupancy of
the 236 bed facility is scheduled for the Fall of 2012.
JP Cullen & Sons is the
subcontractor for the concrete, Oscar J. Boldt is self-performing the
steel and precast placement. Other subcontractors include:

- H&H Industries…. HVAC
- H&H Industries…. Plumbing
- Altmeyer Electric.. Electric
Oscar J. Boldt Construction of Appleton is the Construction Manager
for the project. Architectural services for the project are being provided by Engberg Anderson Inc
of Milwaukee in partnership with Horty Elving & Associates of Minneapolis.
The Brookfield Office of Ehlers Incorporated is providing financial / bond assistance to Dodge County.
