Clearview has a well established program for persons with developmental disabilities which can provide short term rehabilitation, long term residential placement, or respite care.  We are state and federally licensed as a facility serving persons with developmental disabilities (FDD).  Our program is as an important link in the care of individuals experiencing a temporary or permanent need requiring specialized services.  A distinct advantage is the   focus on individual needs and staff trained in the strategies and treatment that result in the most successful outcomes for persons with developmental disabilities. 

Our program offers specialized activities that meet diverse learning abilities.  We focus on sensory awareness and stimulation as a means to learn.  Our workshop setting provides a variety of paid work experiences at varying skill levels.

Besides a structured learning environment for activities of daily living we also recognize the importance of leisure time.  We offer a variety of leisure time experiences including involvement in the community.             

Clearview’s Medical Director helps individuals to meet their medical needs.  In collaboration with the medical director, an RN household Manager coordinates the nursing care provided by both registered and licensed nursing staff on a 24 hour basis.   

Developmental disability professionals serve as primary contact for you as we develop a program plan which will enable each individual to maintain healthy lifestyles.  Our staff is committed to maintaining the involvement of family, guardians, and friends. 

Clearview works with Managed Care Organizations, County agencies, and other referring individuals to assess placement needs.
