Alzheimer's Disease & Other Dementias
Clearview's Specialized Programs ensure dignity while providing safety and care to persons with Alzheimer's disease or other dementias, who may pose wandering risks, and those with high behavioral challenges. Our interdisciplinary team approach addresses the relationship between the individual's medical needs and behavioral symptoms. It is our goal to assist individuals to maintain their highest functioning and to provide quality to their daily lives.
In addition to our professional approach when addressing medical and physical care of the individuals, we also focus on their social, emotional, and recreational needs. The interdisciplinary team offers a range of activities designed to enhance the individual's life as well as reflect upon their past experiences. With a focus on individual strengths, interests, and abilities, the team promotes independence, positive self-esteem, value, and socialization.
Our caring staff members also provide emotional support to the residents' families and friends through disease process education and supporting their coping mechanisms. They are encouraged to participate in the Dodge County sponsored or other Alzheimer's Disease Support Group(s).
