Clearview Activities
The Activity Department at Clearview strives to provide structure to the day of residents through activities that assist them in feeling worth while, stimulate and increase their ability to socialize, and develop relationships with peers.
We look at the total person through an assessment process and evaluate their program on an individual basis. We try to make the activities meaningful, age appropriate, and productive for the individual.
We focus on 3 main areas:
Socialization/Recreation; either in-house or in the community
Pre-vocational/educational
Spiritual
Our TEAM consists of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and Recreation Therapists. Area clergy help meet the spiritual needs of the residents.
Volunteers are an important part of our program with their assistance in programming and coordinating events independently, including Gift Shops which are open daily and are located in each building
